Anyway, this post was sparked by the grand new years eve party I attended. There were so many beautiful, professional, elegant, and smart Black women and too few Black men in attendance. It was a straight man’s heaven. Women were EVERYWHERE and desperate to start 2010 with a possible good Black man. I had so much unwanted pu**sy coming at me I left shortly after midnight – alone.

Tip to straight brothas: attend a few upscale events (not too expensive), dress nice and you will reap positive outcomes.

Today’s modern Black woman’s suitor for marriage is a check list equating to a typical Black gay brotha. To often men and women consider the construct of a good Black man as a candidate playing for the other team: well educated, an intellectual, good job/career, worldly exposed, traveler, speaks proper english, speaks second language, integrity, sensitive yet strong, etc… But is this construct the definitive recipe for a good Black man? No. However, again, it is what the modern woman is seeking as a marriage suitor.

My straight brothas just don’t get it because they are too concerned about the external social police: his mama, siblings, neighbors, coworkers, church folk, his boys’, etc… It is those factors that keep him mentally encircled around defining and defending masculinity. In essences – trying to be hard! My straight brothas will forgo excelling and being exposed because some chick or guy told him “black people don’t do that,” or “that’s so gay.” Here’s a few more: black folks don’t go there, black folks don’t speak like that, black folks don’t dress like that, black folks…. Honestly, there are too many constraints within the heterosexual Black community which cripples the Black male. So, sistas’ – wonder why you can’t find a good Black man?

So what is the best measure of a good Black man? A good Black homosexual male

After my new years eve experience, I pray my straight Black brothas get their act together. I don’t want your women no more than you want my man; however, the lack of good Black straight brothas is making it tempting for me to consider – for one night only – to return back in the day when I thought I was strictly clitly. And I don’t want that; therefore, I’m asking my straight Black brothas to lose the mentally enslaved masculinity BS and upgrade themselves. Don’t worry about what your boys’ gonna say. Maybe you should locate a few good Black gay males as mentors I’m rooting for you – my good Black straight brothas. Good Black women are certainly awaiting.

Fact: Uganda continues to receive substantial funding from the US 25 billion alloted under the Presidents Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) from 2004-present.

Solution: Cut funding to all countries with anti-gay death and or imprisonment laws.

husband, and so asked for a divorce. A British source learned that Marta agreed to avoid disclosing Rush’s loseted homosexuality, or penchant for child pornography, in exchange for a hefty divorce settlement.

Rush made this statement about marriage: “I’m too much in love with myself.” Yet, Limbaugh continually moralizes on the radio about the decline of American values. No report, thus far, about Rush’s heart attacks mentions his fiancee Kate or any female sighted with rush.

Rush is on the Down Low! With such wealth and admitted lover of self only, why not become a single self-loving bachelor. Rush attempts to remain DL with obviously failed marriage after marriage, after marriage. Come on guys, we know the M.O.: men who have sex with men (MSM) trying desperately to hide behind a heterosexual facade – that’s as old as molasses. Rush doesn’t want a woman; he doesn’t like women; he NEEDS and desires a man. Yes, Rush Lumbaugh is gay, gay Gay!

Rush quotes on marriage and divorce says a lot about Rush:

I–I really do not even think marriage is a right. Marriage is a responsibility. It’s not a gift that somebody says, Hey, now it’s time for you to get married. And it’s–to–to be–to be tossed around in this manner is to devalue it, which is to devalue the fundamental building block of our society. September 24, 1993: So, the basic disagreement, and the–one of the primary reasons for divorce or unhappiness in a relationship, is that a woman who’s deriving–she–she wants the husband to think of her first, think of the kids first, think of the house first. Foremost; first, second, third; he’s thinking of his career. That’s where he gets his self-esteem and if he doesn’t think of the career and doing well and climbing the ladder, she’s not going to be happy with that either.

The show down will look like 1861-1865 all over again: Union states v Confederate States. The nation is becoming firmly divided into slave (anti-gay) states (those permitting the anti-gay discrimination) and free states (those prohibiting it) But, this time, the minority group consist of a rainbow of race, color, and ethnicity. The war will be fought for the full rights of Americans who are same gender loving. The anti-gay proponents are determined to preserve their bigotry and those against them, such as the growing abolitionist movements opposed to anti-gay discrimination. We believe: “We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

What’s so revolting? The majority of the beneficiary group of the 1865 Civil War will be taking up arms with the Confederate’s who once revered there existence as subservient. The following was common ideology about the Negro:
” the negro must remain subordinate, and cannot expet to tak the place of white people, when they want to reverse nature: marry white women,rule white men, and sit amongst us, we will hold them under and lench every nigger.”

The research number show that Negros have taken up arms, prepared for battle and drank the cool aid with the Confederate’s. Once again, it will come down to abolitionists who are opposed to discrimination laws.

Will you become one of the modern day Harriet Tubman’s to get our brothas and sistas to the promise land. The new promise land is not a physical state across borders but a mental state of mind of self love and self actualization. Will you join the Union and take up arms for a minority group of people who have fought bigotry long before the 1776 document that states the contradiction between the claim that “all men are created equal.” Join us in this New American Civil War.

When folks ask if I’m Black or Gay first, I quickly respond GAY first. Why? ”l’d trust a gay Black stranger before I’d trust a straight Black stranger – any day. The majority of the Black community is comprised of gullible conformist, mentally enslaved, religious Right, segregationist, bigots – all trying to get to the same destination when they die. These so-called godly folks will spew vile rhetoric, display vehemently hostility, and pray for my condemnation and demise. And that’s what they call doing God’s work.

New information has been released that the sting operation was captured on audio and video.

A federal grand jury handed up an indictment against the Jamaican reagae super star is charged with conspiring to possess and distribute 20 kilos of cocaine and possessing a firearm. Florida police Lt. McVay stated, “the investigation is continuing and there may be more arrests.” So, is Buju squealing like a lil batty boy now?

Banton has been under serious scrutiny for his song “Boom Bye Bye:” an anti-gay song which clearly inciting gay bashing and murder of gay men. The song advocates burning gays and shooting them in the brain with a gun.

There has been some much protest against the star by the National Black Justice Coalition, Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, and other gay organizations and individuals. Now after being arrested, he may lose his chance of winning a Grammy Award.

The US Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) usually does not file federal charges against someone unless they have extensive evidence. The charges are very serious and there’s nothing for the DEA to gain for losing a case and failing to get a conviction. DEA has a very high conviction rate, and they go into court with a small army of lawyers who handle exactly these types of cases every day. That being the case, Mr. Banton is looking at serous prison time, followed by deportation from the US and being permanently barred from re-entering.

The findings may help solve the puzzle of why, if homosexuality is hereditary, it hasn’t already disappeared from the gene pool, since gay people are less likely to reproduce than heterosexuals.

A team of researchers found that some female relatives of gay men tend to have more children than average. The scientists used a computer model to explain how two genes passed on through the maternal line could produce this effect.

In 2004 the researchers studied about 200 Italian families and found that the mothers, maternal aunts and maternal grandmothers of gay men are more fecund, or fruitful, than average. Recently, they tried to explain their findings with a number of genetic models, and found one that fit the bill.

“This is the first time that a model fits all our empirical data,” said Andrea Camperio-Ciani, an evolutionary psychologist at the University of Padova in Italy who led the study. “These genes work in a sexually antagonistic way — that means that when they’re represented in a female, they increase fecundity , and when they’re represented in a male, they decrease fecundity. It’s a trait that benefits one sex at the cost of the other.”

The researchers detail their findings in the June 18 issue of the journal PLoS ONE.

If this scenario turns out to be true, it could help explain the seeming paradox of hereditary homosexuality. Since gay people are less likely to reproduce than heterosexuals, many experts have wondered why, if homosexuality is caused by genetic factors, it wouldn’t have been eliminated from the gene pool already.

But if the same genes create both homosexuality in men and increased fertility in women, then any losses in offspring that come about from the males would be made up for by the females of the family.

“Sexually antagonistic selection is an old idea by Richard Dawkins, but this has never been proven in humans,” Camperio-Ciani told LiveScience. “There are a large quantity of these traits found in insects, for example, and recently in deer sexually antagonistic traits have been discovered, showing that high-ranking males produce rather unsuccessful daughters. We found that sexually antagonistic selection is operating also in our species, and we found it in a very important trait, which is homosexuality.”

A possible scenario

The question of whether homosexuality is genetically inherited has been perplexing scientists for years. While many researchers now agree homosexuality is probably caused by a mixture of nature and nurture, they are still hard pressed to explain the particulars.

Even if this sexually antagonistic genetic system is at work, it can only account for a portion of the overall causes of homosexuality in men, Camperio-Ciani said. Other factors, both genetic and social, likely also play a part.

“I think it’s almost beyond a doubt that genes have some influence,” said Ray Blanchard, a researcher at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in Toronto, who studies the effect of birth order in predicting whether a male will be born homosexual. “My personal view is that there is probably more than one biological mechanism contributing toward homosexuality. I think it’s also safe to say that there is at least one non-genetic influence.”

Blanchard found that with each older brother in a family, the odds increase by about a third that a boy born later will be gay. This effect is not thought to be caused by genetics, but rather by antibodies produced by the mother’s immune system during pregnancy.

Eric Vilain, a professor of human genetics at the University of California, Los Angeles, has studied possible biological factors influencing homosexuality. He said the system studied by the Italian team seems plausible, but that it’s too soon to be convinced.

“I would like to see the first observation reproduced in a different population and possibly with a larger sample to make sure that this holds up,” he said. “If it is replicated, that’s a very interesting finding. It’s a possible scenario.”

Research by Paul Vasey, a psychologist at the University of Lethbridge in Canada, and his graduate student, Doug VanderLaan, provides preliminary support for the Italian team’s results. The scientists studied homosexual men in Independent Samoa, known locally as fa’afafine (“in the manner of a woman”). They found that the mothers of fa’afafine produce more offspring than the mothers of heterosexual men in that society.

“[Camperio-Ciani’s] results are consistent with a growing number of studies that suggest that the female relatives of male homosexuals are more fecund than those of male heterosexuals,” Vasey said.

Loving men

Camperio-Ciani and his team hypothesize that the genes they modeled may cause people of both sexes to be extremely attracted to men, which would lead men with the genes to pursue relationships with other men, while causing women with the genes to have more sexual partners, and become pregnant slightly more often than an average woman.

This system does not address causes of homosexuality in women, he said.

“We’re still working on lesbianism, but were not getting to the same result, and possibly we’ll come out with a completely different explanation,” he said.

The research may shed light on a complicated and controversial topic: whether homosexuality is a choice, or whether it is caused by factors beyond a person’s control.

“I think this is an example where the results of scientific research can have important social implications,” Camperio-Ciani said. “You have all this antagonism against homosexuality because they say it’s against nature because it doesn’t lead to reproduction. We found out this is not true because homosexuality is just one of the consequences of strategies for making females more fecund.”
